Men As Trees Mission Statement

Mark 8:22-25-And He cometh to Bethsaida; and they brought a blind man unto Him, and besought Him to touch him. And He took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when He had spit on his eyes, and put His hands upon him, He asked him if he saw ought. And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. After that He put His hands again upon his eyes, and made his look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.

Here we have the story of a blind man that was brought to Jesus to be healed. Jesus could have cured this manís blindness in the same manner in which He preformed His other miracles, but He chose to use this manís blindness to teach the disciples a spiritual lesson. Instead of touching the man as His disciples requested, Jesus spit on his eyes, placed His hands on him, and asked the man what did he see? He answered Jesus. "I see men as trees walking." There are some in the faith today who could use this spiritual saliva on their eyes. They read the verse above and come to the conclusion that the blind manís lack of faith prevented him from being fully healed until Jesus place His hands on the manís eyes a second time. In error of the scripture, they like the disciples in Mark 8:14-21, have eyes but cannot see the spiritual truth of Christ teaching. This manís physical vision was the least of Jesus concern, it was his spiritual vision that Christ gave sight to. Removing the spirit of slumber from his eyes, he saw men as the righteousness of God (Romans 11:7-10 & Isaiah 61:3). Our Father oftentimes used trees symbolically to represent people in the scripture.

Jesus, who is the Tree of life, used that same symbology as an object lesson to teach us about the righteous trees and the unrighteous trees written in Godís word. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil, is Satan. He obviously is not a literal tree, and neither were the so called trees in the garden of Eden who envied him prior to his rebellion against God. I know this truth is difficult for some Christians to comprehend mentally, because very few have believed God concerning the three earth ages. So in order to attain the truth, why donít we let God tell us, not faithless man, about the Children that Satan drew away from Him in the first earth age and the method in how he did it. In Ezekiel 31:1-18 God used the Assyrian as a type to represent Satanís rise and fall from grace as the Cedar of Lebanon (Isaiah 14:7-27). Here in this prophecy you read how Satan exalted himself above Godís children, and under the shadow of his lies the nations in Eden was made to envied him. It is the mission statement of this Ministry to feed the people that study with us meat, not milk, from the table of the LORD in order to give sight to those who are spiritually blind and cannot see Godís beautiful truth on a simplistic level. So with a word of wisdom from our Father, I invite all sincere seekers of truth to take this journey with me into the scripture and read for yourself the word of truth.
