John 3:16-17-For God so loved the world, that He gave
His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish,
but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to
condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
Salvation is a gift from God that is freely given to
whosoever believes in His Son Jesus Christ. This eternal gift is free to us,
but it was not free to God. Jesus paid an awesome price for this gift with
His blood on the cross. The cross was not the end of Jesus ministry but the
beginning, as it became the bridge that reconciled man back to God. There
are some people who would like to come to the cross and receive salvation
but they often feel that they must have their life in order or be sinless
before they can take hold of this eternal gift. God’s only requirement is
that you come as you are and He will receive you. Your Heavenly Father loves
you, and it is His Will that all come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).
Whatever your circumstance maybe in life, don’t be discouraged. God is
present to help in your time of need. Humble yourself under His mighty hand,
and He will exalt you (1 Peter 5:6-7). Only in the scripture can
truth be told, so lets go there to hear God’s promise of salvation to you.
Isaiah 49:8-10-Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable
time have I heard Thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped Thee:
and I will preserve Thee, and give Thee for a covenant of the People, to
establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritage; That Thou
mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth;’ to them that are in darkness, Shew
yourself.’ They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all
high places. They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor
sun smite them: for He That hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the
springs of water shall He guide them.
This great promise of salvation spoken by God in the
Old Testament is brought forth in the New Testament as a witness
of His faithfulness to make good on every word that He spoke.
2 Corinthians 6:2-We then, as workers together with Him,
beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. (For He
saith, "I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation
have I succoured thee:" behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now
is the day of salvation.)
The acceptable time for salvation by God’s timetable is
now. The ‘condition’ that He has placed on this precious gift in
order to attain it is you must confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord
and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead to be the
Savior of the world.
Romans 10:9-10-But what saith it? "The word is nigh thee,
even in thy mouth, and in thy heart:" that is, the word of faith, which we
preach; That ‘if’ thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and
shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou
shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and
with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
The word "if" is the conditional fork in the road
that separate those children who receive Eternal life from those children
who do not. The word ‘If’ states a condition of uncertainty because
the promise of salvation awaits action on your part which include
confession and belief in Jesus Christ. Our Heavenly Father will
never beg you nor will He ever force you to receive this eternal gift. If it
is your decision to become a child of the King and have a personal
relationship with Jesus Christ, then I encourage you to say this prayer and
claim the promise of Eternal life:
"Father God, I confess to You that Jesus Christ is Your
only begotten Son who was crucified on the cross for our sins, and I believe
in my heart that You raised Him from the dead to be the Savior of the world.
Father, I am a sinner who has fallen short of Your glory, in the past I
thought that I could live my life void of Your presence, but now I know how
much I need you. Father God, I ask You to forgive me of my sins, and come
into my life and receive me as Your own, and I will love You and worship You
all the days of my life. I say this in Jesus name, Amen."
God bless you, for saying this prayer. To God Be The
Glory as He welcomes you into the family of God in Christ Jesus
(Ephesians 3:14-15). As a Christian Brother or Sister in the faith, I
encourage you to find a good bible teaching church to help guide you in your
