In this study of ‘The ark
of the end time,’ four question must first be answered before the
effects of the sin of that day can be fully realized in this end generation
of the fig tree.
1. What was the sin that
caused God to destroy that generation with a flood?
2. How will that same sin
impact our generation in the end time?
3. What are the scriptural
similarities between Noah’s flood and Satan’s flood?
4. What is our ark of
protection in the end time?
Genesis is the foundational
seed upon which the other scriptures rest. If you don’t know how it started
in the beginning then, you will never understand how it will end. Why do I
say this? Because this far reaching sin goes further than Noah’s generation.
Jesus made this sin part of the New Testament. He gave credentials to it
directly affecting Christians when, He compared the atmosphere of sin in
Noah’s generation to His second advent. He told us that the same exact sin
which was being practiced before the flood will also be practiced in this
generation. The most obvious question that every Christian should ask
themselves is: what was the grievous sin that took place in that day which
lead God to destroy that generation with a flood?
Luke 17:26-27-And as it was
in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage,
until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and
destroyed them all.
According to the natural law
of matrimony, God is not against the marriage between a man and a woman, but
natural matrimony is not what took place in these marriages. What angered
God about these particular marriages was that it was those fallen angels who
were eating, drinking and marrying human women. The fruit of this unnatural
union produced a superhuman race of giants. God was greatly displeased with
this sin and He spared not the ancient world, but brought in the flood to
destroy the children that was the result of angelic and human cohabitation.
Genesis 6:1-2-And it came to
pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters
were born unto them, That the sons of
God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took of them
wives of all which they chose.
The ‘Sons of God’ is
translated "angels" in the Septuagint manuscript.
Genesis 6:4-There were giants
in the earth in those days; and also
after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they
bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old renown.
The Hebrew word for
‘giants’ is nephil from the prime root naphal
meaning, "to fall." (Strong’s #5303 & #5307)
in Hebrew means ‘to fall,’ because the Nephilims were the progeny of
Satan’s fallen angels. The damming sin that caused these angels’s fall from
grace was that, they left their first estate recorded in Jude 1:6 to
fulfill Satan’s plan on earth to pollute the bloodline of Jesus Christ. The
end result of angelic and human sexual mixing produced a superhuman race of
children who were not only giants in stature, they were also giants of the
mind; and the advance knowledge of sin that they brought into the world
broke all moral limits which God had set for humanity.
