Donít Teach My People to Fly to Save Their Souls
This study written by Maurice Wright

Ezekiel 13:20-Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the soul to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.

The word Ďhuntí in Hebrew means, "lie in wait; to catch men." (Strongís #6678)

In this study of Ezekiel chapter 13, you have the privilege of witnessing Godís anger slowly simmer into a rapid boil because of the demonic teaching of the Ďfly-away lie.í A teaching that God said, "I am against" because they hunt to win the souls of My children to make them fly." You will soon find out our Fatherís anger is directed at the preachers, teachers, prophets, and prophetesses because the sin of teaching the rapture is all inclusive. Both men and women tell this lie from the pulpit. Some teach this lie because they donít know the truth, while Satanís ministers of unrighteousness teach the lie deliberatively. Either way the lie is told and Christians are deceived. My question is, why would anyone want to teach something that God has said He is against?

The appealing quality of the rapture in the mind of some Christians is that it gives them a way to escape what they have been taught will be persecution and death in the tribulation. This foolish teaching by the clergy of murder and mayhem in the tribulation is not biblical, friend, and God is against it. In fact, what they fail to tell you is, according to the scripture, the tribulation is not about physical persecution but about religious conversion. This is the reason why the "dragon," symbol for the religious leader, does not appear on earth as himself but he comes in the image of our Savior, the Lamb of God. Not to convert the unbelievers, he already has them deceived, his great desire is to steal Christians away from God (Revelation 13:11, John 1:26-37, Revelation 20:1-2). Why is it so difficult for some Christians to believe that Satan will imitate God in the tribulation? After all, wasnít it his pride to be God the reason for his fall from grace? Well, his desire for that position has not changed as noted in the verse below.

2 Thessalonians 2:3-5-Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed the son of perdition, Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was with you, I told you these things?

Wait a minute, Satan pretending to be God in the tribulation? This isnít what the preachers teach in church. They tell us that Satan will come to earth as this vindictive angel to persecute and kill. Could Paul be wrong? If what the preachers teach is true who would ever believe Satanís claim to be God if he appeared on earth killing people? No one will and only the idiots teach this way. God would never come to earth killing people if His purpose is for them to worship Him. Neither will Satan if he wants his imitation of God to be believed in the mind of Christians.

In the first part of this study, the false prophets are the unfortunate ones that receive Godís chastisement. With lies, they have whitewashed the truth by preaching a doctrine that God is against. The second part of this study is directed at the false prophetess, who in many ways, have superceded the sins of the prophets. The prophetesses, by twisting the scripture ever so slightly, have successfully covered over Godís saving hands, so that the people cannot see His true salvation. Only in the scripture can the truth be told. So, with a word of wisdom from our Father, I invite all sincere seekers of truth to take this journey with me into the scripture and read for yourselves how God feels about those who teach the rapture lie.

Ezekiel 13:10-Because, even because, they have seduced My people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter.

The word Ďdaubedí in Hebrew means, "to smear, especially with lime." (Strongís #2902)

ĎLimeí defined by Websterís Dictionary means, "to smooth over a white substance."
