self-control, a state of overwhelming emotion; especially: rapturous
delight: trance; especially a mystic or prophetic trance."
The word ‘ecstasy’ defined by Webster’s Dictionary
Second Edition means, "to drive out of one’s senses, intense joy or
delight, a state of emotions so intense that one is carried beyond thought
and self control. A trance or rapture of mystic or prophetic exaltation."
Here, by definition of the word ecstasy, we have a
realistic view of the state of emotion the peoples of the world will be
under when the spurious Savior appears on earth. This deception is made
possible because most of the church world have bought the lie
concerning the physical snatching away of the saints. What a great
embarrassment they will experience when reality sinks in and they wake up
from this rapturous trance and realize that they ran to the wrong Jesus.
Jesus, through the unbelief of doubting Thomas, taught us
a valuable lesson into the method and operation that Satan utilizes in the
end time. Thomas was one of the twelve disciples who walked with Jesus but
he never believed that Jesus was the risen Savior until he saw with his own
eyes and touched with his own hands the marks of crucifixion. Satan is very
aware of this weak nature of man’s curiosity. This is the reason why he will
appear on earth bearing these same marks. Not to deceive the unbelievers, he
already has them fooled, his great desire is to deceive the Believers. This
is the reason why Paul tells us that Satan will appear on earth in the image
of God showing the world that he is God to mislead Christians in a false
rapture (2 Thessalonians 2:3-5).
John 20:24-25-But Thomas, one of the twelve, called
Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore
said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I
shall see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the
print of the nails, and thrust my hand into His side, I will not believe.
The name ‘Didymus’ in Greek means, "double, or
twin." (Strong’s #1324)
The name Thomas means, "the twin or a twin."
(Strong’s Greek #2381 & Hebrew #8380)
Jesus Christ called the disciple that was known as
‘The Doubter’ by his first name, Thomas. The disciples nicknamed him
Didymus for two reasons. The first reason was, Thomas was a twin. The second
reason was Thomas seem to always waver in opinion: doubt (Strong’s #1364 &
John 20:29-Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou
hast seen Me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and
yet have believed.
