Children of faith believe to see, doubting Thomas, who
lacked faith, had to see to believe. Every Christian should learn a valuable
lesson from Thomasís experience because those who crave signs and wonders in
this end generation will have them. Unfortunately, it will be Satanís
miracles. For all Christians who have not mastered the faith principle,
which is to believe to see, than you can learn a great lesson of faith from
the three Hebrew children Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego,
when they faced the Babylonian image 606.
Daniel 3:1-Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of
gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six
cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.
The word Ďthreescoreí in Hebrew means, "sixty."
The height of the image is 60 cubits, the breadth
of the image is 6 cubits, totaling 606.
The number 606 is the image that the three Hebrew
children refused to worship and God delivered them. Their trial by fire was
an example for all Christians to follow when we face the image 666.
Let me ask you a question. Did God rapture Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego
out of this world when they faced the image 606 in their day? No, God did
not rapture the three Hebrew children out of their trouble but He walked
with them in the mist of their tribulation.
Daniel 3:24-25-And these three men Shadrach, Meshach, and
Abed-nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning furnace. Then
Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and
said unto his counsellers, "Did not we cast three men bound into the
midst of the fire?" They answered and said unto the king, "True, O king."
He answered and said, "Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of
the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the son
All Christians like to quote the scripture that Jesus is
the same yesterday, today and ever, but I wonder if they really believe it.
If they did then they should know that God will stand with us also in the
mist of our tribulation when we face the image 666 in our day.
Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego, when tested by the image of Babylon, stood
in faith instead of serving a false god (606).
However, there are many Christians in this generation who
donít intend on standing in faith when they are tested by the image of
Babylon in the book of Revelation (666), but they, like cowards, intend on
flying away in a secret rapture that God said He is against (Ezekiel
13:20-23). Why do Christians feel they have to run and hide from a enemy
that is already defeated? I thought Jesus gave us power over all of our
enemies (Luke 10:19). Before we conclude this study, I feel that it
is very important for us to revisit the testimony that was left to us by the
three Hebrew children. I pray that we learn to face the image of our day
with the same faith that they demonstrated.
Daniel 3:12-There are certain Jews whom thou hast set
over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego;
these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor
worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
Daniel 3:13-Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury
commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. Then they brought
these men before the king.
